On Saturday 28 March, Marie Curie Cancer Care will be collecting donations at the Belvoir Shopping Centre. The charity, who offer help and support to those with cancer, and other terminal illnesses, will be present at the shopping centre from 10am to 3pm on Saturday collecting donations from Coalville’s generous shoppers. Carrie Seaton, from Marie Curie Cancer Care for Leicestershire and Rutland said: “To be able to carry on our work, the Marie Curie nationwide charity needs to raise £10,000 every hour of every day, which is obviously a staggering amount! However, by carrying out collections such as our one at the Belvoir Shopping Centre, we can meet our target. We are so grateful for anyone that makes a donation and look forward to seeing the people of Coalville”. A spokesperson for the Belvoir Shopping Centre commented: “Whenever we have held charity collections at the shopping centre in the past, the people of Coalville have always been incredibly generous. I am sure that this will also the case on Saturday, and that Marie Curie Cancer Care will raise a vast amount of money to help them continue with the fantastic work that they do.” For further information about the Belvoir Shopping Centre please visit www.belvoirshoppingcentre.co.uk or call 01530 813893.
