Marie Curie Cancer is holding a fundraising bonanza at the Belvoir Shopping Centre. The charity, who offer help and support to those with all terminal illnesses and their families, is holding a festive fundraiser on Friday 28th November, to support the local stores and raise funds. Throughout the day shoppers will be invited to try out the £10 outfit challenge. Can you find a fabulous outfit for just a tenner? Entrants could win a festive hamper and anyone signing up to be a Marie Curie volunteer will also be entered into the Christmas hamper draw. Carrie Seaton, from Marie Curie Cancer Care for Leicestershire and Rutland, said: “We are always overjoyed by the generosity of the people of Coalville. It’s great to see familiar faces and meet new people and we look forward to the event. It’s the perfect opportunity to get Christmas presents sorted and raise money for a great cause. It really does make a difference.” A spokesperson for the Belvoir Shopping Centre commented: “Marie Curie Cancer Care is such a great cause and we are always proud to support the charity. Shoppers in Coalville are always very giving and I’m sure this will be the case again this year. Hopefully we will top last year’s fundraising total!” For further information about the Belvoir Shopping Centre please visit www.belvoirshoppingcentre.co.uk or call 01530 813893.
